BROOKLYN, Ohio–Police are in search for suspects who robbed a local gas station–and it’s all caught on tape.

Two suspects ransacked a Prime Stations store on the 3500th block of Ridge Road in Old Brooklyn.

Brooklyn Police Detective Joe Tenhunfeld said the suspects made off with $15,000 in cash and merchandise.

Tenhunfeld suspects spent an hour-and-a-half inside the store and seemed experienced.

“They obviously knew the layout and what they had done was cut the phone lines to the building prior to entering it, which disengaged the alarm system,” he said. “They were very careful and in fact blocked off the doorways and things like that with bread racks and things to kind of conceal the activity inside.”

Tenhunfeld said one suspect made one big mistake, caught toward the end of the video.

“He probably got too warm while he was in there,” Tenhunfeld said. “Took those coverings off and then just happend to notice the surveillance camera up in the corner of the store, look directly into it and decided he better destroy that.”

While they destroyed the camera, what was caught on tape remained.

The two suspects are believed to be from the Cleveland area.
