Cleveland winters can be tough, but they will once again be fun thanks to the return of Snow Days at Progressive Field.

Today, the Indians announced they will turn Progressive Field into a winter wonderland again this year.

The snow tubing and ice skating will be back – and new this year – a regulation-sized ice hockey rink.

Thats where the Ohio State Buckeyes and the University of Michigan Wolverine’s hockey teams will compete in the Frozen Diamond Faceoff–the first outdoor college matchup of its kind for the state.

“I feel this will be the crown jewel of what will be another exciting opportunities for families to file into Progressive Field, in a time when our ballpark would be quite and dormant,” said Cleveland Indians president Mark Shapiro. “It will be buzzing with excitement. Memories will be made.”

The Frozen Diamond Faceoff will take place on Sunday, Jan. 15, and tickets will go on sale Nov. 14.

As for “Snow Days,” which will begin with “Snopening Day” on Nov. 25 and it will run through Jan. 16.
