A Cleveland woman is accused of killing her live-in boyfriend with anti-freeze.
Holly McFeeture, 34, was arrested this morning for the death of Matthew Podolak.
The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office said Podolak died in 2006. However, his death was unclear until police got a tip four years later. In 2010, Podolak’s death was ruled a homicide.
According to the indictment, McFeeture is believed to have poured small amounts of anti-freeze in her boyfriend’s ice tea in July 2006. He died at 31 years old.
”It’s shocking because it’s quiet over here,” said neighbor Detra Fletcher. “It’s a really nice neighborhood. You never know what goes on in somebody else’s house. You can smile and talk to somebody every day and never know what’s lurking in the dark with that person.”
Neighbors said Podolak was a Navy veteran and he had two children with McFeeture.
McFeeture is in police custody and is charged with aggravated murder and contaminating substance for human consumption. She is expected to be appear in court on Friday, July 27.
