EAST CLEVELAND – Medical professionals are celebrating a year of success at Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center.
The Cleveland Clinic center opened its doors a year ago, and today, staff members gathered to celebrate their mark on the community.
“We have some unique things here at our facility, with the patient navigation center,” said Sabrina Kray, Clerical Manager at Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center. “They actually have a team of individuals that help our patients, guide them and assist them with their health care, their social services, financial needs and community resources.”
Over the past year, its 85-member staff has helped assist 27,000 patients.
The center provides more than 25 specialty services, in addition to internal medicine, OB/GYN and pediatrics. The goal is to enrich the lives of patients with local resources they may not be aware of otherwise, Kray said.
“I think our community, our outreach programs. We have like Storks Nest for prenatal education, a boot camp for new dads, and we also have healthy cooking classes. Those are just a few things we do here at the center that help the community,” Kray said. “We have a lot to be proud of this year.”
