BRECKSVILLE, Ohio – Police are on the lookout for a not-so-musical Grinch of downtown Brecksville.
During the afternoon of Dec. 28, a Brecksville service employee noticed holiday music wasn’t playing in Public Square.
According to a police report, that worker then realized that the holiday music speakers had been damaged. A note was also attached to the speakers, stating, “The music is far too loud for neighboring businesses and churches.”
“We wanted to get people in the holiday spirit, but I guess you can’t please everyone,” said Ron Weidig, director of Public Services.
Weidig said the speakers didn’t suffer significant damage. A worker was able to restore music to the area by the end of the day.
