On Oct. 3, he will appear before a Sedgwick County District Court judge for a preliminary hearing.
Sneller, 29, is believed to have worked for the city for nine years. Most recently, he worked as an operations technician.
The district attorney’s office says Sneller allegedly used a fake ID under the name “Sergeant Joe Smith” to get access to the evidence. It’s not clear if “Sergeant Joe Smith” is a current employee of it was made up.
