The community is coming together to help a Wichita car crash survivor.
Trapper Tyrell was in a serious car crash in June and suffered injuries to his spinal cord. He’s now at a rehabilitation facility in Nebraska, where he hopes to walk again for his fiance and young kids.
His father, Vance Tyrell, says that Trapper was hurt on the job and that he has no worker’s compensation. The bills have topped one million dollars.
This Friday and Saturday, there will be fundraisers, including a home run derby, golf chipping contest, softball games and a silent auction.
