Months ago she was diagnosed with two types of cancer, but Joy Knox says that will not stop her from moving forward.
Knox and her friend, Joy Donohue, joined us on the set of Good Morning Kansas to talk about a benefit today.
Knox shared the story of her diagnosis. She learned that she had tumors and melanoma this March. Her condition is terminal, but has become an inspiration for others like Donohue.
Knox, Donohue, their friends and family are operating the Hope for Hair car wash to benefit Joy and Lock of Love. There will also be a stylist on site to cut people’s hair, if they want to donate for Locks of Love.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the car wash, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for hair cutting. Those who wish to donate hair after 1 p.m. can get a voucher for a haircut.
