Most promos are planned. Well-planned.
But many times things just don’t work out. The news staff doesn’t have video shot. Producers can’t seem to get the info they need. Nobody is to blame. It’s just the nature of the beast.
But in this case, the elements were there, so I decided to do a little something extra.
Every week, I create promotions for Does It Work. Eyewitness News Consumer Reporter Kim Setty brings products to life—and see if they not only work, but if they’re truly worth the money. Do things taste good? Last long? Etc.
We only intended to make a short promo for this week’s spot, but with a product like a “Man Girdle,” it needs more attention.
I talked to the marketing staff to see if we could make something more of it, and this is what I’ve come up with… all in a day’s time.
It wasn’t particularly amazing. But the fact that it’s a man girdle—well, that alone should make the top of anyone’s list! Enjoy!
