A video of Wichita police officers is touching a lot of hearts online this morning.
The footage, captured by Conlee Borchard, shows officers and community members celebrating and dancing together at the First Steps Cookout Sunday night. As of late Monday morning, the video has nearly one million views and 30,000 shares on Facebook.
More than 1,000 people gathered at McAdams Park for the event, which followed a Black Lives Matters rally a week before. The barbecue was planned in lieu of a protest. You can read more about the event by clicking here.
