MELANIA TRUMP ACCUSED OF PLAGIARIZING MICHELLE OBAMA SPEECH
Donald Trump’s campaign chairman says it’s “just absurd” to claim that Trump’s wife Melania used in her own speech passages from Michelle Obama’s address to the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Paul Manafort tells CNN “there’s no cribbing of Michelle Obama’s speech.” Manafort suggests that when Mrs. Trump spoke to the Republican National Convention Monday night, she was merely using “words that are common words.” Yet, two entire passages were nearly identical to those spoken by Mrs. Obama.
Mrs. Trump’s controversial speech inspired a hashtag on Twitter, #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes.
