A missing-person mystery for decades in northeast Kansas.

Margaret Mae Tighe vanished on Nov. 24th, 1998, in Manhattan, Kan. Reportedly, she was visiting her sister’s home. Margaret’s boyfriend last saw her near McCall Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard on the east side of town. She was never seen again.

According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, circumstances strongly suggest she has been a victim of foul play. A $5,000 Governor’s Reward has been established for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. Her case has been featured in the Cold Case playing cards circulating in Kansas jails and prisons, hoping to generate leads in the investigation.
