More than 30 years have passed since a Kansas City teenager and her infant daughter were last seen, and some fear foul play in the case.
Jennifer Lynn Conroy and her infant daughter, Ashley, were last seen on Dec. 14, 1993. They lived with Jennifer’s grandmother in the 1000 block of Monroe in Kansas City, Mo.
“Jennifer told her grandmother they were going to a friend’s house and would return in approximately one hour,” the Charley Project, a website documenting cold cases shares. “She brought one diaper and one bottle of baby formula, which was her normal routine when leaving home for short periods of time.”
Ashley and Jennifer were accompanied by a man, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tells me. “A neighbor saw them getting into a pickup truck,” the Charley Project shares. “Neither of them have been seen again and their cases remain unsolved. Foul play is suspected.”
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has created an agree-progression photo of what Jennifer may look like today in her mid-40’s.
